One-year Internship Program under the supervision of Kulbir Singh, Senior Resident & Medical Physicist. Professional training in the fields of Teletherapy, Brachytherapy, Patient Preparation, Treatment Simulation, Treatment Planning and Quality Assurance, Radiation Protection Safety.

• Quality Assurance of Halcyon Linear Accelerator.
• Mould Preparation & Use of Immobilization and Ct.
• Procedure Patient Specific QA
• Daily output consistency, weekly QA, monthly QA of Varian Truebeam & Clinac Ix.
• PDD, Flatness, Symmetry checked with RFA.
• Quality Assurance of HDR Brachytherapy unit.
• Treatment planning on the eclipse system.
• Active participation in Quality Assurance, Treatment Planning (2D and 3D), Manual treatment planning calculations, document maintenance as per AERB rules and regulations, radiation safety aspects and overall academic activities in the department during the Internship training.
• Training in careful and safe handling of Dosimetric Equipments such as Ionization chambers, Electrometer, Phantoms for measurements, Radiation Field Analyzer etc...
