Detailed description of the expert mission:
- Support all geotechnical and metro projects by advisory and instrumental role in devising & implementing HSE policies, HSE management systems, plans, training programs and Standard Operating procedures while utilizing the latest international standards and ISO 45001 and 14001 management system.
- Conducting IMS, ISO 45001:2018 Audits on all tunnel and Metro rail projects and provide the necessary preventive measures and supporting documents as per the requirement.
- Developing the Resilience plans for the present pandemic situation and published through SHE updates.
- Developing the Pandemic plans for Resumption of duties and published through SHE updates.
- Coordinating with corporate management and make arrangement to provide the necessary safety equipment to the related projects.
- Arranging the corporate level trainings to all the geotechnical and metro rail projects.
- All lifting activities Eg.OSD span (orthotropic steel deck) and associated safe work procedures (Erection plan, Tandem lift & HIRA ) were developed and cascaded to specific projects and followed with Safe Lifting Operation Training for ensuring appropriate compliances of the plan and procedures were implemented at site.
- Ensure Marine Construction safety such as Barge, Cofferdams, Pile, Steel girder erection between piers.
- Handling and coordinating all tunnelling and elevated metro rail projects from Corporate Office, and regularly visiting the project location for supporting and implementing safety management system and positive safety culture.
- Physical inspection on specific construction machinery such as TBM’s, Launching Girder, NATM Process (Rocket Boomer), Pile rig and all Lifting machineries etc.
- Guiding the Site safety team to achieve the best practices and safety awards.
- Identifying the gaps between the contract conditions and site implementation, also instructed the site team to fulfil the requirements.
- Ensuring the HSE establishment by daily site inspection and observing the unsafe act and condition also issuing the safety observation report, NCR’s, and contractual letters to the contractors for compliance.
- Ensure the following documents are submitted, approved, and reviewed as per the requirement are HSE plan, lifting plan, HIRA, Emergency response plan, Traffic management plan, Tunnel Safety management plan, Environmental management plan, Monsoon preparedness plan, Mitigation plans, Safe operating procedures, and Method statements etc. Also ensuring the implementation at site by Remote SHE Audit and Physical Inspection.
- Monitored all Critical Activities on site as per request & corrected the unsafe practices followed by the site team.

- Verifying and conducting the random Inspection of Launching Girder, TBM’s, Rocket boomer, Earth moving equipment’s and NATM Technique.
- Lifting plan, Safe operating procedures, Method statements and Risk Assessment for PEB materials and structural steel erection are reviewed and ensuring all the statutory compliances implementation at project sites.

Construction of Convention center (24000 sq.mts roof without columns supported by 12,900 tons of steel structures and underground passages)
Detailed description of the expert mission: (on this project)
- Carried out “Hazard Identification Risk Assessment (HIRA)”/ “Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)” for all critical activities and specially categorized jobs.
- HSE supervision and documentation on work for the Critical activity of precast slab erection at various level has been successfully completed.
- 12,900-ton structural steel erection was completed safely and successfully at OCEC P-3 by Managing the sub-contractors through vigilant HSE supervision and documentation work.
- 14 Escalators and 21 Elevators were erected safely at OCEC P-3 on strict safety compliances.
- Roof cladding and liner sheet installation activity was personally supervised and advised the innovative ideas to carry out the task safely and successfully at working in height and roof slope areas.
- Challenging activity of Catwalk & stage erection was safely handled and maintained the Sub contractors to follow the safe working procedures and PTW system.
- Around 450mts underground vehicle passages was constructed by advanced NATM technique with rocket boomer and supported with lattice girder, shotcrete and rock bolts.
- OMRAN (Client) & SSH (Consultant) had approved me for all Erection work and gave the special designation “Erection Safety Specialist”
- Handling the Major sub-contractors without any conflict and implement the safe operating procedures (Method Statement) and safe system of work (PTW)
- Maintaining all the documents up to date for Internal and External audit purpose (IMS, TUV, SSH and OMRAN).
- Developing the critical lifting plans for all Erection activities
- Ensured availability of fire Extinguishers wherever necessary & also trained worker for the correct use of the same.
- Monitored all Critical Activities on site & corrected the unsafe practices followed by the workmen and employees.
- Monitored the day to day activities of Safety Inspectors and developing them to achieve their goals.
- Conducted Fire and Electrical Shock Mock Drill and trained the workers for the Emergency Evacuation Procedure.
- Provided necessary training to the work force for maintaining good housekeeping, proper waste disposal & their welfare facilities.
- First aid, Defensive driving, Material Handling, Rigging & Safe Lifting Operations trainings were arranged from Accredited Training Providers.

- Maintaining Construction Waste Management system as per requirement and achieved recycling percentage more than 75% per Month. Maintaining record of Construction waste removed from site (Wood Waste, General Waste, Plastic Waste, Hazardous Waste, Metal Waste and Concrete Waste).
- Taking daily site photographs regarding (Indoor Air Quality, Construction Waste Management and Construction Activity Pollution Prevention) and comply with LEED requirement.
