Sonal Deshmukh

I'm a Liberal Arts graduate (Psychology major, Theatre minor). Over the last couple of years I've helped run a community art festival, worked on a few theatre productions, and completed an 85-person research study. I enjoy planning, organizing, and making sure things come together on time. I'm looking for my first role in Operations, Project Coordination, or Event Management.

Event Management Intern at Earthian Art Foundation (2025-11 – 2025-12)

• Supported planning and on-ground execution of the Bhingri Children's Art Festival (500+ attendees), assisting with venue setup, decoration, and stage preparation.
• Assisted in managing the festival stall and donation counter, handling cash transactions and interacting with donors throughout the event.
• Organized and maintained a digital archive of festival photos and videos for future promotions and documentation.
• Worked closely with a 10–20 person mix of volunteers, vendors, and foundation staff to keep things running on schedule

• Kept detailed notes and records organized and up to date across an active caseload
• Prepared case summaries and documentation for internal review, ensuring information was organized and easy to access.

• Supported day-to-day administrative activities for welfare and housing programs serving women and children.

Theatre Production & Stage Coordination at Theatre Minor Productions, SPPU (2023 – Present)

• Worked on stage management, backstage logistics, and keeping production timelines on track across 3–5 college theatre productions
• Contributed to direction, assistant direction, and scriptwriting while collaborating with cast and crew throughout the production process.
• Coordinated rehearsal schedules and communicated updates to cast members before performances.
