• Manage Storage groups and Storage Classes to ensure full availability
• Managing backups and Restores using HSM.
• Cataloging and Managing Datasets.
• Performing ACS routines through ISMF.
• Checking Scratch Count of Tape Library and Perform Recycle of Tapes if needed
• Configuring Application Security.
• Active input and part of Knowledge Management Process.
• Strive to maintain the availability and reliability of IT services to ensure that IT can effectively meet service agreements in accordance with business requirements.
• Create and Define ALIAS on request, inside the mainframe environment.
• Restore DSNs from backup when requested using DCOMM utility.
• Monitoring and Performing Weekly, Monthly and Daily Backups in Production Environments
• Assisting in Disaster Recovery Test process and Drills for assigned Clients
• Single Point of Contact for all production/non-production issues.
• Been part to DLM Microcode Upgrade Activity
• Handling JOB ABENDS
• Volume addition
• Performed storage checkouts during z/OS upgrade.
