• Executed HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing alongside ECU Testing, Functional Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, and Sanity Testing to validate embedded automotive software on target hardware.
• Performed protocol-level validation using CANoe to verify ECU communication and diagnostic behavior within the HIL test environment.
• Developed and automated test scripts using CAPL in CANoe to streamline HIL test execution and reduce manual test cycles.
• Utilized CANoe, Wireshark, ECU Test Tool, Ediabas, and DLT Viewer for real-time signal monitoring, protocol debugging, and root cause analysis of ECU/firmware faults on the HIL rig.
• Carried out Firmware and ECU Validation — including feature validation, software validation, and defect verification — to confirm system behavior against requirements before vehicle-level integration.
• Logged and tracked defects using JIRA, performing Root Cause Analysis to support fast resolution and minimize regression in subsequent HIL test cycles.
• Prepared detailed Test Documentation and traceability reports for HIL test cases to support compliance, audits, and cross-functional review.
