Experience in implementing and maintaining ServiceNow Discovery and Cloud Discovery.
- Validating and troubleshooting non-discovered CI’s.
- Performing On-Demand Administrative Support: Quick Discovery
- Mid Server Management: Start, Pause, Properties- add, change, deactivate, Troubleshoot the log issues, enable debug.
- Strong knowledge of IP Subnets to develop effective ServiceNow Discovery schedules: add, update, de-activate, exclude IPs from schedule, adding IP subnets, discovery clusters.
- Configuration and Setup: setting up discovery schedules, credentials, and patterns
- Credentials Management: Manage credentials required for discovery processes, ensuring that the appropriate permissions are granted and securely stored.
- Discovery System properties add/change/deactivate.
- Cloud Discovery: Adding/ removing AWS schedules, service accounts, Cross assume role & Org assume role parameters, Datacentres.
- Validating Cloud API Trails for any AWS job stuck.
- Perform integrations and process automation using Service Graph, JAMF & Intune
- Reclassify the CI’s.
- Creating reports and adding them to Discovery Operational Dashboard and Validating Discovery Dashboard.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of discovery processes, configurations, patterns, and best practices for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Error Handling: Troubleshooting the errors from Discovery Home.
CMDB:
- Assists in the responsibility of the overall health of the CMDB utilizing tools such as CMDB Health Dashboard, Data Certification, IRE.
- De-Duplications: reconcile the set of duplicate CIs into a single CI, eliminating the duplication.
- Experience with the ServiceNow (CMDB) including class structure, tables, attributes, Identity and Reconciliation (IRE), and Class Manager.
- Working on CMDB stale CI’s.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow Fundamental in ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB & Asset, Service Catalog)
o Working with the merger bank for building & implementing the discovery module.
o Assist the CMDB team with designing, deploying, and managing ServiceNow Service Mapping solutions for both on-premise and cloud resources, including schedules, credentials, and mid-servers o Working closely with HAM, SAM & APM team.
o Provide recommendation to clients with respect to cloud discovery and prepare technical implementation roadmap.
o Integrate ServiceNow with third party sources.
o Working with Integration team on the agents to get installed on the devices for avoiding the computers and mac devices to get stale.
o Perform system & integration testing utilizing Automated Testing Framework where possible o Provide Technical Guidance and resolve issues during upgrades and fix defects found in ServiceNow platform, applications, and workflows.
o Engage with HI team to fix the defects.
o Experience in using Jira for sprint planning (working on stories, creating test cases).
