VMware Aria Automation and Operations: Administration, Design (POC), Deploy, manage, migration planning from 7.6 to 8.x version.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, Deploying Standard and High available on-premises cloud environment (VMware Aria Automation Setup)
- Configure and manage all aspects of VRA, VRO, including developing vRA Blueprints and orchestrator Workflows. Providing End-To-End Support for complete vRealize Suite (vRA, vRO, VIDM, vRLCM)
- Driving self-service automation into infrastructure based on VMware vRealize Automation platform.
- Automate provisioning and managing Infrastructure components & cloud services for application workload.
- Provisioning application infrastructure components in multi cloud environments (On-Prem/Azure/AWS) and deploy the applications.
- Configure projects, Cloud Zones, Custom Naming Template, Capability/ Constraint Tags, Storage, Backup, Network policies on vRA and test the policies.
- Configure and mange LDAP accounts on VMware Identity manager.
- Create subscription and Service Broker Content (ABX/vRO (Extensibility via Python or Node.js)) on vRA
- Integrating vRA vRO with various third-party tools such as Service Now, Active Directory, SCCM, SCOM, SALT, iCinga, vROPs, passwordVault, Log insight as well as vCenter, vSAN storage, and Clusters to Develop an IAAS platform.
- Maintain Git-Hub for version control.
- DevOps practices and automation for Continuous Integration (CI) And Continuous Delivery (CD) throughout the product development lifecycle while building support for continuous testing and configuration management to enable zero downtime deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational incidents, issues and interfaced with technology teams and Vendor to coordinate a solution.
- Work with VMware Architects and Developers for project development.
- Supporting services before they go live, through activities such as system design consulting, capacity planning and launch reviews.
- Maintaining services once they are live by measuring and tracking availability, latency, and overall system health.
- Scaling systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by suggesting changes that improve reliability and velocity.
- Built Windows and Linux Templates.
- Expertise in managing, Operations of vRA and project management. Presently handling both Project Management (SCRUM Master) and admin role.
- Coordinate with the customer in Germany. Understand their requirements and get new workflows developed with help of VMware developers. Test the workflows and publish them in PROD.
- Work with business teams to simplify and improve operations by analysing processes and create end-to-end automation solution designs.
- Work with clients across all verticals, to design automation solutions using major automation software tools.
- Facilitate workshops with the business operations and functional teams to understand the end-to-end processes.
- Good knowledge on vSphere client, ESXi, storage.
- Good knowledge of data center architecture, Cloud Migration
Good knowledge on public cloud technology Azure and AWS
