I have over 20 years of experience designing, managing, monitoring and evaluating humanitarian and development programmes in Govt, national, international organisations and UN agencies across India. My sectorial expertise includes Livelihood, Disaster Management, Water Sanitation and Hygiene, disaster risk reduction and humanitarian programmes. I have gained sufficient experience in direct management of large humanitarian and development programmes as well through partners.

I worked in urban bodies on planning and implementation of development programmes and disaster management activities. I have developed skills and competencies in project management, donor compliance, human resources and budget management, monitoring and evaluation, partnership management and technical expertise and capacity building in DRR, WASH and livelihoods in my extensive career. I have demonstrated the ability to motivate, supervise and work with others in cross-cultural settings.

• Assist City Municipal Commissioner for preparation, updation & review of City Disaster Management Plan (CDMP) for the City. Assist city administration with Hazard Risk and Vulnerability Assessment Study of the City. Liaison with State/District/City authority for smooth implementation of the project. Assist DDMA in different Disaster management activities and programme for disaster risk reduction.
• Support to preparation of Comprehensive Fire Safety Framework and Plan for Twin City of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
• Coordination with line departments and local communities for planning, monitoring and implementation of urban development plan.
• Training and capacity building to stakeholders- Corporators, Urban Bodies staff and officers on Disaster Management and urban planning and design the training plan, reports.
• Develop the City Disaster Management Plan and support to DPC for preparation of Block and GP DM plan.

• Provide handholding support to District and State for Mukhya Mantri Kalakara Sahayata Yojana(MKSY) and Upgrade the Bhagabat Tungi and Cultural Troupes Management System programme in urban and rural areas of Cuttack.
• Assist to District Administration for ongoing office work – Library inspection, competition among the students of drawing, debate and speech at district level.
• Organise cultural events at district level.

• Training and Capacity building to stakeholders on Sujal and Swachha Gaon, Water Safety measures and Water Quality, safe toilet design and treatment and reuse of faecal sludge in the rural areas.

• Care India, Bhubaneswar– Design the training schedule and WASH models for field-level workers (AWWs, SHGs, PRI Members and School Teachers). • Support to strengthen capacity of grassroots level committees/institutions through planning capacity building and motivation of key stakeholders like Nigrani Samities, GKS, VWSC, Water Supply user groups etc.
• Facilitate training to School Teacher on WASH Assessment and Swachh Bharat and Swachh Vidyalaya Programme. Training to Official from RWSS on Water Quality and Water Safety measures.
