Experience
Nine years of industrial and research experience in electric motor development for Electric Vehicle, naval/submarine torpedo propulsion and agricultural pump applications.
Research experience in motor technologies like axial flux/radial flux PMSM, PM assisted SyRM, SRM, BLDC and LS PMSM. Work experience on development of control algorithms for enhancing the electric motor performance.
Hands on experience with the FEA tools like Ansys-Maxwell low frequency Electromagnetics, Motor CAD, RMXprt, Magnet FEA and Magnet-OptiNet.
Able to interpret simulation results from Ansys work bench and good understanding of 3D modeling software like solid works and Auto CAD.
Experience in leading electromagnetic design, thermal, structural and control teams for the development of electric motors.
Digital twin model development for an electric truck range estimation without considering component ageing in MATLAB/SIMULINK (collaboration with IIT Kharagpur).
Good understanding on materials from electromagnetic, thermal and structural aspects.
Five years of teaching experience as an assistance professor in reputed institution.
