Footwear industries - Skechers & Neemans shoe manufacturing

Test upper, sole, adhesive and chemical materials as per Sketchers test protocols before production
Conduct flexing, abrasion, Tear strength, Tensile and bonding test
Perform ageing, hydrolysis, heat, humidity, and fatigue test to evaluate shoe life
Support production by testing samples during trail, pilot, and mass production stage
Analyses test failures, identify root cause and recommend corrective action
Prepare accurate test reports and maintain records as per Sketchers audit requirements
Ensure all lab equipment is calibrated, validated, and maintained on schedule
Control sample identification, storage, traceability and disposal
Implement testing improvements based on Sketchers updates, standards and best practices
Work closely with QA, IQC, Production, purchase and R&D Teams
Inspect all incoming materials (upper, sole, accessories, chemicals, packing) as per approved standards
Check materials specifications, color, thickness, weight and visual defects against approved samples
Send samples to lab for required physical and chemical tests and review test results
Approve or reject materials based on inspection results and quality standards
Identify defects, prepare inspection reports, and communicate issues to purchase and QA, Suppliers
Maintain IQC inspection records, test reports and material trace ability

QUALITY SUPERVISOR (QA/QC) - NORA ENTERPRISES

Oversee Quality Control Operations: Monitor all stages of vending machine production to ensure compliance with internal standards and ISO certifications
Develop Inspection Protocols: Create and implement inspection procedures for mechanical, electrical, and aesthetic components of vending machines
Lead Quality Audits: Conduct internal audits and coordinate third-party inspections to maintain quality certifications (e.g., ISO 9001)
Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs): Investigate product defects, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with design, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes
Train and Supervise QA Staff: Guide quality inspectors and technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols
Analyze Quality Metrics: Track KPIs such as defect rates, rework costs, and customer complaints to drive continuous improvement
Customer Complaint Resolution: Address quality-related customer concerns and ensure timely resolution and documentation
