Holding a dual remit — acting simultaneously as the FinOps lead and Senior Business Analyst for enterprise cloud and data platform programs, bridging financial governance and delivery excellence.
- Lead enterprise FinOps practice across 35+ cloud accounts, delivering ~10% YoY cloud cost savings (~$200K–$500K) through RI/SP optimisation, right-sizing, tagging governance, and waste elimination across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Snowflake.
- Develop and own cloud cost forecasting and budgeting models for $2–5M annual cloud spend, improving forecast accuracy and enabling proactive variance management with Finance leadership.
- Build executive dashboards in Apptio Cloudability, CloudHealth, and ProsperOps tracking cost KPIs, RI/SP coverage, and utilisation trends; present insights directly to Senior Director – DevOps & Security IT.
- Design showback/chargeback frameworks enabling accurate cost attribution across 10+ engineering teams, improving financial accountability and driving cost-aware architecture decisions.
- Lead end-to-end Business Analysis for 15+ enterprise programs, facilitating discovery workshops, producing BRDs/FSDs, and managing backlog prioritisation using MoSCoW and value-based scoring.
- Translate complex business strategies into Features, Epics, and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria, ensuring seamless alignment between business objectives and engineering delivery.
- Design and execute UAT strategies for cloud platform releases — coordinating test cycles with 20+ stakeholders, achieving zero critical production defects on go-live.
- Act as Scrum Product Owner proxy — owning sprint goals, resolving blockers, and maintaining delivery momentum across cross-functional engineering, data, and QA teams.
