Assist in developing, writing and updating lab SOP's and approved procedures.
Perform testing of water and food samples- Detection and enumeration of various parameters (E.coli, S. aureus, Salmonella, Shigella, V. cholera, V.parahaemolyticus, Listeria monocytogenes, Total plate count, Yeast and mould count etc.)
Perform sterilty test and antibiotic assay of raw and finished products.
Makes and records observations, perform calculations, for preparing data for evaluation.
Preparation of media.
Handling and operation of microbiological equipments andinstruments.
Perform growth promotion testing of microbiological media.
Isolation, identification and maintenance of microbial cultures.
Determination and validation of autoclave with biological and chemical indicators.
Maintenance of records and documents.
Preparation of test reports.
