The movement of shipments is regularly monitored through freight forwarders, and the clearance and delivery process is expedited if necessary.
• COORDINATION WITH CHA, EFL Mumbai Custom Clearance Team, EFL Kolkata Custom Clearance Team: To effectively coordinate with the Customs House Agents (CHA) at Kolkata and Mumbai for all seaborne consignments, including the entire process from preparation of checklists to final dispatch. To verify the accuracy, completeness and compliance of supplier's import documentation; to distribute verified documents to CHA for further processing. • WEAIM SYSTEM DSR & Portal Checking and Updating: Closely monitor on DSR, WEAIM Portal daily and ensure that all relevant data is updated accurately and within the required timelines.
• E-WAY BILL (EWB) Sheet Preparing & TRUCKING: Create e-way bill generation in excel sheet and share with MSR, Jockey & other Importers Generate e-way bills and coordinate delivery plans with planning, production and store teams.
• SUPPORT & PROBLEM SOLVING: Support problem resolution and assist in negotiation of freight handling terms with foreign suppliers and logistics partners. Coordinate with Customs/ADC to resolve customs related queries, fines or penalties and assist in the settlement of waivers, where applicable.
