Innovative Postdoctoral Researcher with over 8 years of specialized experience in advanced membrane technology, polymer chemistry and nanomaterial synthesis. Currently spearheading research at CSIR-IMMT on the development of high-performance anion exchange polymer membranes (AEPMs) for metal-air batteries and electrolyzers. Also, developing ion exchange membranes (CEM & AEM) for reverse electrodialysis and nanofluidic membranes for osmotic energy harvesting.
My work bridges the gap between fundamental nanomaterial design and their successful incorporation into suitable polymer matrices to prepare composite membrane structures for different applications. For instance, Blue Energy Harvesting, I am developing high-selectivity cation and anion exchange membranes and pioneering nanofluidic membrane research for osmotic power generation. Innovating hydrogel-based membrane variants to enable the next generation of wearable and flexible electrochemical devices.
Thus, I have technical expertise in executing end-to-end research workflows, from the precision synthesis of functional nanomaterials to the comprehensive characterization and performance testing of complex membrane systems. Overall, I am dedicated to engineering sustainable, next-generation energy solutions. Thus, I have a proven track record in bridging fundamental material science with practical applications, including blue energy harvesting and flexible electrochemical devices.
