- Experience in design, operation, and commissioning of electrical power systems for Pumped Storage Hydropower (PSP) & HEP projects
- Knowledge of generation–motor operation of reversible pump-turbine units in pumping and generating modes
- Involved in high-voltage switchyard systems (220 kV / 400 kV): GIS/AIS layouts, bus schemes, breakers, isolators, and protection coordination
- Understanding of generator–motor transformers, unit auxiliary transformers, and station transformers, including cooling and protection schemes Worked on power evacuation systems, grid interconnection studies, and compliance with grid codes and SLDC/RLDC requirements

- Exposure to SCADA, Energy Management Systems (EMS), and control & instrumentation (C&I) interfaces for pumped storage operation
- Experience in power system studies such as load flow, short-circuit analysis, and transient stability related to PSP operation
- Knowledge of synchronous motor starting methods, starting converters, static frequency converters (SFC), and associated protection logic
- Involved in auxiliary power systems: AC/DC systems, UPS, batteries, emergency power supply, and station earthing
- Understanding of black start capability, fast ramping, and grid stabilization roles of pumped storage plants
- Coordination with mechanical, civil, and control teams for interface management and integrated system commissioning
- Participation in testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance validation of electrical equipment
- Ensured compliance with IEC, IEEE, IS standards, safety regulations, and quality procedures during execution
- Supported O&M activities, fault analysis, and reliability improvement of electrical systems in hydro power stations
