Project Genesis (A footwear collection for the metaverse) 

The objective of this project was to create a new footwear brand that will operate both in the physical world and in the metaverse, as well as the development of its initial footwear collection.

• Brand Development & Identity: Established a distinct brand identity with a targeted business plan for metaverse success. Crafted captivating narratives and visual aesthetics through mood boards and trend analysis.
• Trend Research & Customer Profiling: Developed a comprehensive metaverse fashion trend report and defined ideal customer profiles. Informed design decisions and ensured alignment with market preferences.
• Theme Development & Design Exploration: Developed a theme, translating research into 25 unique shoe models exploring blockchain integration. Captured brand essence through creative brainstorming and prototyping.
• Prototype Creation & Representation: Created two physical prototypes, bridging virtual and physical worlds. Allowed for tangible feedback and refinement, ensuring collection viability in both realms.

Project Inara (Football shoes)

This project created high-performance football shoes for attacking players on turf, soft land, and firm ground. It focused on enhancing player performance, addressing issues like lace untying, ensuring superior ankle support, and optimizing the outsole for agility during attacking maneuvers.

• Research and Analysis: Conducted secondary research to analyze various aspects related to football shoes, turf conditions, foot anatomy, prevalent injuries among players, material, physical forces affecting player performance, and more.
• Field Observation and Player Interaction: Visited turf environments to observe gameplay dynamics and interviewed 10 players to understand their experiences. These interactions provided qualitative data guiding design decisions, ensuring alignment with user preferences and requirements.
• Problem Identification and Solution Development: From player interviews and market analysis, identified three critical challenges: preventing lace untying, enhancing ankle support, and improving outsole effectiveness. Further research laid the groundwork for actionable solutions to address these issues.
• Ideation and Design Innovation: Leading ideation sessions, I generated 15+ design concepts that balanced functionality and aesthetics. Ensured the seamless integration of solutions into appealing shoe designs, meeting both functional requirements and consumer expectations in the competitive market.
