About

I am from Odisha and currently live in Delhi. I have done MFA-Printmaking (2022-2024) from

Delhi College of Arts, and I have done BFA-Printmaking (2018-2022), also from Delhi College of Art. The subject of my work is "Natural Environment". I mostly work on the landscape of natural environment. My usual medium is Woodcut. I want to present the beauty, grandeur and fascination of nature in front of the audience through my artwork. In today's modern world, rapid urbanization is taking place. As a result, we are drifting away from nature,

forgetting that we are also a part of it. Amidst the hustle and bustle of urbanization and modern life, we overlook the beauty, grandeur, and captivating views that nature offers.

When I tried to understand nature by becoming a part of it, I was deeply influenced. Now, the natural environment has become an invaluable part of my life. Through artistic efforts, I want to deepen my connection with those landscapes that have shaped us as a species and remind us of our humble place within the grandeur of the natural world.

Through my artwork, I aim to present the beauty, magnificence, and allure of nature to the audience. I often choose locations that might initially be considered ordinary or mundane but have the power to inspire awe. The changing seasons and the flow of time hold a particular fascination for me, and I strive to express these ephemeral aspects, presenting them with a sense of tranquility and silence.

This allows the audience to experience a sense of stillness and connect with natural beauty. I invite viewers to pause, breathe, and immerse themselves in the beauty of these landscapes.

Through my artwork, my goal is to remind the audience of the inherent value and fragility of our natural heritage. By contemplating the landscapes I present, I hope that people will be inspired to rekindle their own connection with nature and, in doing so, become stewards of the environment.
