✓ Responsible in preparation of Cost Estimates.
✓ Scrutiny of tender document.
✓ Examines, prepares all types of cost estimates, conceptual and definitive for various
Engineering / maintenance works.
✓ Review scope of work, evaluating tender documents, drawings & schedules.
✓ bid drawings, specifications, applicable reference documents, and the bid scope of work.
✓ Establish estimated direct man-hours, consumables, bill of materials, equipment line-up,
subcontract quotation and cost summary.
✓ Quantity take-off and preparation of material requisitions, determination of sub-contract items, interpretation of construction drawing, detailing, drafting and as-built works.
✓ Communication (including per bid & post bid queries & clarifications) with client via email and facsimile.
✓ Attending technical clarification meeting and project oriented technical presentations.
✓ Provide conceptual and detailed life cycle cost estimates of various capital projects and maintenance tasks.
✓ Floating enquiries to suppliers / manufactures.
✓ Comparison studies based on suppliers quotation.
✓ Negotiation with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product.
✓ Solicit sub-contractor quotations and evaluate compliance to the requirements.
✓ Quantify the volume of work on each assigned specific discipline contained in the bid documents as per available
✓ Attend and prepare report of Job-ex meeting and site visit. Obtaining bid bond for tendering project.
✓ Develop cost for field construction including the impact of shipping and schedules.
✓ Preparation of technical bid (including work schedule, organization chart, manpower histogram & supporting technical document) and commercial bid.
✓ Planning for the tendering activities and site schedule.
✓ Internal kick off meeting with project team at post award stages.
✓ Cost analysis and optimizations of on basis of past project database.
✓ Liaising with financial department with regards to establishing monthly evaluation of work done , goods received and services rendered for invoice preparation and verification.
