Managed two Extrusion Press lines of capacity of 660 and 960 US Tons of log size 4”and 5”. Plan the process control strategy for the operation. Devise methods and system for its effective implementation. Managing the Quality control department and Control the relevant processing stages & the parameters to get good quality extruded profiles, aging and packing quality. Responsible for quality, efficiency, productivity and cost. Production capacity of 8,000 Tons/year.
Study of product and process related quality problems and recommend improvements and solutions using Root Cause Analysis. Do regular shop floor interactions and conduct weekly meeting regarding the productivity and quality issues. Production solutions and Rejection analysis, corrective and preventive action. Customer satisfaction by supplying the profiles in time with quality.
Managing the Die Shop, coordination with die correctors for the rectification of die problems when the profile does not meet the required quality. Understanding of customer complaints from technical point of view and based on analysis recommend action plan for controlling & preventing the defects. Analyse customer satisfaction survey and take appropriate action to improve customer satisfaction.
Maintain the daily production target, scrap% and do the necessary action to maintain it in the optimum level. Managing the maintenance, Packing, Dispatch and Foundry department.
