Safety Officer - SRC project private limited - Mahindra world city, Chengalpattu
- Ensure all employees follows safety rules and regulations
- Conduct regular workplace safety inspection
- Identify hazards and implement corrective actions
- Organize safety training and toolbox talk for workers
- Investigate accident, incident and near misses, and prepare reports
- Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Stop unsafe work and report unsafe acts and unsafe conditions immediately
- Coordinate with supervisor and workers to promote a strong safety culture
- Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained at the worksite
- Prepare and maintain safety records, report and documentation
- Participate in internal and external HSE audit and close audit observation
- Carry out risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Monitor Permit To Work (PTW) system for high risk activities
- Verify compliance with HSE standards and client requirements
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and legal requirements
- Conduct Tool Box Talks (TBT) and safety induction program
