As a Senior Design Executive at Furniture Designer at Nilkamal Limited, I apply my design thinking, problem solving, and 3D modelling skills to create innovative and sustainable furniture products. I am involved in the design and design innovation of various projects, apart from this I'm managing the team of engineers and carpenters for the New Product Development and forwarding the same products to the production department for further pilot production process.

I also make the necessary changes in the already developed products, ensuring that they meet the needs and preferences of the clients without much affecting the cost of production.

I have a B.Des. in Furniture Design and Manufacturing from National Institute of Fashion Technology India, where I learned the fundamentals of design, manufacturing process improvement, and product development. I have also gained valuable experience as an Assistant Furniture Designer at The New Black Design Studio, where I was responsible for research, client presentations, material lists, construction drawings, material sourcing, vendor coordination, and product packaging. My passion is to design furniture that is functional, aesthetic, and environmentally friendly.

It's been 4 years in this industry and as of now I have explored about the differebt materilas, different finishes etc. I worker upin the solid furniture where I explored and developed about 190 wooden finishesh with Acacia, Mango, Ash, Teak and Oak wood. I also worked upon the upholstery range of furniture where I explored about the foam, fabric, stitching and tufting techniques etc.

As a I found that manufacturing is the key part of a good design.
