Research Assistant at Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (1986-09 – 1992-02)

The Institute an autonomous body under Ministry of Commerce - a government job under Assistant Grade. Research Activities of Professors of the Institute were carried out as assistant by studying several books/ journals /UNDP clippings etc were written typed and submitted to professors which enabled them to give research papers to the Government of India and all export promotion councils. Professors under whom worked were Shipping Professors with which interest in shipping developed

• Assisted Stalwart Economists like Bibek Debroy (Padmashri ), Doctor Rajeev Kumar ( Head of Niti Aayog ) - also had privililege working under the then Commerce Minister Late Mr N D Tiwari
