A Territory Sales Officer (TSO) at Asian Paints is a frontline sales professional responsible for driving revenue and market share for paint and related products within a defined geographic area. The role blends field sales, channel management, merchandising, and customer service to ensure product availability, visibility, and strong relationships with trade partners and end customers.

• Sales target achievement: Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales and volume targets for assigned territory through direct sales and channel activation.
• Channel development and management: Build and maintain relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, and contractors (painters). Onboard new retailers, negotiate margins and credit terms within company policy, and resolve disputes quickly.
• Merchandising and display: Ensure proper in-store product placement, signage, brand displays, and demo kits. Maintain planogram compliance and inventory levels at retail outlets to maximize sell-through.
• Order taking and fulfillment: Collect orders from retailers/dealers, ensure accurate entry into company systems or apps, coordinate with dispatch/logistics for timely deliveries, and follow up on short-ships or invoicing issues.
• Customer acquisition and retention: Identify local builders, contractors, interior designers, and corporate buyers. Offer product recommendations (catalogues, shade cards), sampling, and technical support to convert and retain customers.
