I am an HCPC-registered Multi-disciplinary biomedical scientist with over 12 years of experience in a fast-paced hospital laboratory that analyzes 500+ samples each day. Extensive knowledge in biochemistry, hematology, blood transfusion and microbiology, including analyzer maintenance. Currently looking for a new position where I can use my talents and experience to help the organization grow in value.

Jahra Multi-Speciality Hospital Lab, Kuwait. ( Dec 2013 – Till date)
Running all types of samples including serum, blood, CSF, urine, and fluid within the lab.
Perform coagulation, blood grouping, and blood film.
Entre patient records on LIMS.
Performing daily, weekly and monthly maintenance on all analyzers.
Keep the instrument accuracy by doing calibration, Control, and troubleshooting.
Assist training program for new and junior staff.
Edit lab SOPs.
Validate and release results to the lab head and doctor.
Perform internal and external quality control according to lab policies ISO15189.
Maintain lab stock reagents and audit.
Deputize for other senior staff as required.

Perform all lab tests in biochemistry, hematology, and microbiology.
Operate all manual devices including centrifuge and microscope.
Collect the patient’s blood and urine by using lab policy.
Perform manual techniques such as slide blood count, ESR, Hb, urine routine, and benedicts urine sugar.
Prepare and send out samples for other hospital labs.
Keep the lab and all machines clean and tidy.
