- Lead and maintain approved status to accreditation Standards in the scope of the QMS (e.g., ISO 9001/FSSC:22000)
- Vendor Management - Responsible for the management of Vendor Strategy to assure a continuous supply of safe, legal and specified materials and ensure compliance to any upcoming legislative and regulatory changes
- Vendor Auditing – Vendor audits follow up actions and drive improvement in vendor performance to assure their compliance with Expectations and specifications

- Supports local shop floor quality system and improvement projects

- Supports Quality Control improvement projects (flows, methods, calibration, etc.)
- Supports customer complaints and non-conformance management
- Author, reviewer and approver of Local QMS documents. Reviewer of regional documents
- Ensure the effectiveness of processes critical to quality. e.g., includes Change Control, HACCP / CCP's, validation schedules/trials, pest control, cleaning, product recall
- Provide QMS awareness training to relevant personnel
- Maintain an effective internal audit schedule that continuously expresses the level of compliance to appropriate requirements. (Standards / ISO / GMP)
- Ensure sufficient internal auditors are available to achieve the above and that they are adequately trained
- Lead external quality-related audits by authorities and customers
- Coordinate and monitor the follow up to audit actions
- Coordinate the review and response to client-related quality inquiries, quality agreements, questionnaires, evaluation reports etc
- Coach and mentor QC Technicians on their daily testing and SAP utilization
- Ensure the effectiveness of processes managing non-conformances e.g., Customer Complaints, internal nonconformance
- Lead Product Recall
- Manage the performance, development and training of the team including succession planning and promoting a culture of right first time (zero defects)
- Participate in the Emergency Response Programmes/Safety Programs
- Olfactory test team member
- Expertise in SAP (Quality module)
