Many residents at Henri-Bradet have cognitive deficits or dementia, requiring a calm approach and the ability to work at the resident's pace. I assist residents with their morning wash showers, dressing, and grooming. This includes changing briefs and ensuring skin integrity.
I help residents get around the facility using walkers or wheelchairs and assist with transfer from bed to chair. I support residents during breakfast, lunch, or supper. This involves feeding assistance for those with physical disabilities or memory loss and ensuring they stay hydrated.
