Testing Engineer at Swastik Electronics Testing Centre (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. (2023-10 – Present)

• BIS Safety Compliance Testing: Hands-on experience in sample testing and compliance evaluation as per IS 13252-1, IS 616 and IS/IEC 62368-1, with exposure to testing requirements for BIS CRS, NABL, TEC, QAI, Custom, R&D and Internal QA projects.
• QUALITY & COMPLIANCE: ISO/IEC 17025, NABL Laboratory Audit Support, Laboratory Quality Documentation, Internal/External Audit Support, Compliance Documentation, LIMS, Technical Report Review
• IS/IEC 62368-1 Project Experience: Successfully handled and executed testing activities for 60–70+ product projects under IS/IEC 62368-1, covering applicable electrical safety and construction requirements.
• Safety Test Execution: Executed key safety tests including Working Voltage, Dielectric Strength/High Voltage, Earth Continuity, Leakage/Touch Current, Temperature Rise, Insulation Resistance, Discharge and other applicable safety tests as per relevant standard requirements.
• Critical Component Verification (CCL): Verified Critical Component Lists (CCL) and evaluated component safety certificates/documentation from recognized certification bodies and databases, including UL, VDE, TÜV Rheinland, TÜV SÜD, ENEC and IEEE-related sources, BIS CRS (Compulsory Registration Scheme) against applicable safety requirements.
• Test Report Preparation & Review: Prepared detailed Technical Test Reports (TR) and reviewed reports for technical accuracy, completeness and compliance before final submission.
• LIMS & Clause Verification: Managed LIMS activities including applicable clause verification, test requirement verification, sample tracking, data entry and report-related workflow.
• Leadership & Team Coordination: Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers on LIMS operations, CCL verification, component verification, and report review processes.
• Technical Manager Support: Supported the Technical Manager in LIMS coordination activities, including clause verification and approval workflow, test requirement coordination and sample allocation to engineers based on project requirements.
• Technical Documentation: Maintained accurate test data, test records and technical documentation required for BIS product certification and final report submission.
• Laboratory Equipment: Hands-on experience with Oscilloscope, Digital Multimeter, Power Analyzer, Function Generator, DC Power Supply, DC Load and Earth Continuity Resistance (ECR) Tester.
• Audit Experience: Successfully participated in and supported 4 NABL laboratory audits, assisting with the review and presentation of test reports, technical records, LIMS records, testing documentation and applicable compliance requirements.
