Backend Developer Intern at Learnyst (2026-02 – 2026-05)

• Built backend features for Learnyst's EdTech platform using Ruby on Rails, Sidekiq, Redis, GraphQL, and Webhooks, focusing on modular, maintainable code.
• Developed an admin-facing email validation feature delivering cleaner recipient lists, deliverability insights, and automated reporting.
• Designed an email validation vendor adapter integrating multiple third-party providers using the Strategy design pattern, enabling vendors to be swapped without touching business logic.
• Implemented foreground (real-time) and background (bulk) validation flows using Sidekiq + Redis to process large lists asynchronously while keeping the admin UI responsive.
• Handled vendor webhooks for asynchronous validation callbacks, with reliable status reconciliation and retry handling.
• Built a Sidekiq-driven reporting pipeline that generates and emails validation reports (deliverability rates, invalid addresses, bounce metrics) to admins and the backend team.
