Worked in production support project for a leading retail client (H.E. Butt Grocery) in Texas and Mexico.
The Production Support project involved Maintaining and Supporting the entire Finance HR and Retail division of all their Grocery stores on an SLA based 24 x 7 basis.
My responsibilities included supporting all the 56 related applications (including critical applications like Scan Maintenance, Direct to store, Store office Automation) on a 24 x 7 basis and ensuring that the system is up and running smooth at all times.
The Online (CICS) Module comprises three functional Branches for Data Entry (For Vendor Invoices), Browsing of POs raised by Stores (from DB2 Tables) and the Process of Matching and Approval of Vendor Invoices (Involving the POs raised by the Stores and the corresponding Invoices sent).
BATCH Module: Generate various kinds of Reports; generate Data back-ups and necessary Data sets. Generate Reports pertaining to Settlements, Reconciliation, Retrieval Requests, Charge backs and mismatch in sales between the General ledger and the relevant tables and also generate necessary Output Data sets (files)
