Madhya Pradesh Rural Livelihoods Project Department of panchyat & Rural Development Govt of Madhya Pradesh works in remote villages in Dhar, Jhabua, Barwani, Alirajpur, Anuppur, Shahdol, Mandla, Dindori and Sheopur districts where there is a high proportion of scheduled castes and scheduled tribes and where female literacy is poor. In Phase 1, MPRLP reached 815 villages, around 50,000 households in all. Phase 2 of MPRLP, which started in July 2007, reaches nearly 4,000 villages, including 822 villages reached in Phase 1.

The scheme will be funded by the financial institutions, Panchayat Raj Institutions, District Rural Development Agencies (DRDAs), Non Government Organization (NGOs), Technical institutions in the district.

Researcher - World Vision - Indore

Worked as a Researcher in evaluation of Total Literacy Campaign for the district Bokaro, Sahibgunj and Papumpare. The objectives of the evaluation were to prepare district literacy profile by objectively assessing the literacy skills attained by the learner. Identify the factors responsible for such strengths and weakness and suggest remedial measures to overcome these problems. Provide academic inputs into the policy and planning of literacy campaign at the state and central level.
