13+ years, started out as an Oracle DBA and moved into Enterprise architecture — currently General Manager, heading a 5-person AWS/Database/Network/DevOps team, and I'm also the lead architect of a greenfield project (React, Java, MySQL) for a 15-person delivery team. Defining technology roadmaps, target-state architectures in AWS cloud migration, consolidating 7 databases into 1, breaking apart a monolith, access control mechanism according to governance frameworks aligning technology investments with business objectives across multi-functional engineering teams, Documenting and translating technical terms into business language for Senior Stakeholders. Strong understanding of Business, Application, Data, Technology, and Security Architecture with practical application of TOGAF ADM, COBIT governance, and enterprise architecture principles.

What I'm probably best at is turning a technical problem into something a CTO can say yes to, and then getting app, network, DB and DevOps teams to actually agree on one plan. Looking for a Senior Enterprise Architect role, or something close to it, at a product company.

General Manager — Infrastructure & Enterprise Architecture at Satin Creditcare Network Limited (2018-08 – 2026-06)

Progressed: Manager (2018) → Sr. Manager (2021) → Deputy General Manager (2023) → General Manager (2025).

• 2025–26 — As General Manager: Architecture Vertical Ownership (current) Head the AWS/Database vertical now — 5 people reporting to me — and own the architecture, network, and technology-stack roadmap for the whole estate, including budget planning and audit-readiness. Also lead architect (infra, DB, CI/CD) on a greenfield product built in React, Java and MySQL, running that with a 15-person team and working directly with the client.
• 2021–25 — As Sr. Manager → Deputy GM: Platform, Governance & Decomposition Designed and directed the security lockdown of payslip data in PRMS after it was flagged as sensitive: stripped all S3 access except the PRMS app server (via a VPC endpoint, no internet path), and had every download logged and monitored through CloudWatch, with a Lambda trigger that emails us if any other process on that server tries to touch the files.
• Put together an access-control and audit framework using COBIT principles for the first time, which took Quarterly compliance reporting down from about a month to 2 days, and separately drove CIS benchmark hardening across the EC2 fleet — got to about 60%.
• Scoped an Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration using TOGAF principles (vision, target state, a POC) and coordinated breaking the LMS monolith into 5 services, 3 of which actually shipped, mainly to stop full regression testing on modules that changed constantly.
• Hired and built out a DevOps function from scratch and got automated CI/CD running for UAT and production using Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, ArgoCD and SonarQube for 7 applications.
• Consolidated 7 application databases down to 1 and moved app services to independent HA deployments, which meant getting CTO, app, network and DB teams to actually agree on one plan instead of five.
• 2018–21 — As Manager: Cloud Migration & Foundational Architecture Planned and led a hybrid on-prem-to-AWS migration driven by Oracle's end of support and RBI's HA compliance requirement. Built the cost case (₹1.25 Cr on-prem vs ₹90L cloud), owned the landing zone/VPC design, and reported straight to CTO/VP through the whole thing. Ran a couple of months over the original estimate once a missed assessment came up mid-migration, but landed with zero P1s in month one.
• Pulled I/O wait data from Stats pack and app-side SAR reports to make the case to the CTO for a storage upgrade — was the only DB/infra person on it, reporting to the VP directly. Coordinated with every Application team and Delivered with zero downtime.

Sr. Oracle DBA at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (2017-11 – 2018-08)

• Hands-on SQL performance tuning using AWR, ASH and ADDM reports; configured and debugged Oracle RAC, Standby and Data Guard environments.
• Led Grid and Oracle version upgrades within RAC environments; configured and monitored OEM-scheduled jobs, including full UAT refresh cycles.

Oracle DBA at HCL Comnet (2014-11 – 2017-09)

• Looked after uptime and DR/HA policy for 150+ Oracle databases, and handled day-to-day data refresh and purging work for the dev teams.
