I am a Geotechnical Engineer and Researcher with over 7 years of experience in geotechnical investigation, foundation analysis, dynamic ground monitoring, and numerical modeling. My expertise lies in site investigation through field and laboratory testing and soil report preparation, design of shallow and deep foundations, assessing construction-induced ground vibrations particularly from sheet pile driving, and in developing predictive and mitigation strategies using advanced field instrumentation. During my tenure as a Project Engineer at IIEST Shibpur (2019–2025), I led over 17 field studies and successfully completed the site investigation through field testing and also developed a ground vibration prediction model for manmade dynamic sources, validated through both field measurements and physical model experiments.
This work has significantly contributed to improving structural safety near construction zones. I have published 6 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. My technical proficiency includes software such as PLAXIS 2D/3D, Abaqus, AutoCAD and advanced Excel modeling; and I am skilled in geophysical testing techniques including SASW, MASW, Cross-hole, and Down-hole methods as well as dynamic pile load test.
I work with geotechnical standards such as IS 14884, Eurocode, ASTM, and AASHTO, and consistently apply field-based insights and analytical approaches to develop practical, data-driven solutions for infrastructure resilience.
