CHEMICAL PLANT OPERATOR - THE KERALA MINERALS AND METALS LIMITED (KMML) – OXIDATION PLANT

(2023-12 - 2024-12)

• Worked as plant operator in oxidation plant (U-300) where is TiO2 produced.
• Worked as Liquid Ring Compressor Operator.
• Monitors and controls the plant, checking that all system functions safely and effectively and making the necessary adjustments in consultation with Senior Operator in the DCS/SCADA Control System.
• Check the pressure flow, temperature and level in the process area and tank farm to control room/operator/supervisor in case of any abnormalities.
• Trouble shooting at process.
• Co-ordination with technical & maintenance service department for smooth plant operations.
• Reporting all the abnormalities and failure to the control room and to take corrective measures.
• Acquired knowledge and expertized in using various valves like diaphragm valve, gate valve, butterfly valve etc.
• Plant monitoring, Plant reading and Maintaining log sheet.
• Troubleshooting of the process operations during power failure, Instrument air failure, Utility and DCS failure.
• Collected data on plant operations and noted any issues that should be addressed.
• Worked as LNG operator where LNG is unloaded, stored and transferred.
