Manager for a Government of Maharashtra forensic sciences project — owning end-to-end architecture and operations for a Pune data centre plus 13 branch locations over MPLS.

My environment is genuinely multi-vendor and enterprise-grade: FortiGate 100F/1001F firewalls (FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer), Cisco Nexus/Catalyst and Tejas switching, VyOS MPLS routing with VRRP, a 19-host VMware vSphere/vCenter cluster, NetApp ONTAP (NFS/iSCSI), ArcSight SIEM, and RHEL/Ubuntu across the server estate.

What I do best: design HA/DR architectures with no single point of failure, lead root-cause analysis on complex cross-layer incidents (storage latency, cluster failures, firewall HA), set standards through reference SOPs, and automate operations — I built a Python/Flask monitoring platform for all branch MPLS routers from scratch.

Currently deepening cloud-native skills: Docker and Kubernetes (containerized my own monitoring stack; designing K8s platform patterns integrating enterprise storage via NetApp Trident, network policy, and SIEM-integrated observability), Ansible automation, and AWS/Azure architecture (certified in both).

• Lead end-to-end Infrastructure, Cloud, and 24x7 Data Center Operations for a Maharashtra State Government Forensic Sciences project supporting a primary Data Center in Pune and 13 MPLS-connected branch locations.
• Design scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise infrastructure architectures, including High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), VMware clusters, NetApp storage, FortiGate HA, and VyOS VRRP routing solutions.
• Manage hybrid cloud infrastructure across AWS and Microsoft Azure, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, EBS, RDS, CloudWatch, Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure AD (Entra ID), Storage Accounts, Azure Monitor, and cloud migration planning.
• Perform infrastructure architecture reviews, capacity planning, technology evaluation, performance optimization, security hardening, and solution design for enterprise environments.
• Administer Linux servers (RHEL, Ubuntu) with expertise in installation, configuration, OS patching, kernel upgrades, LVM, systemd, Monit, OpenSSL remediation, shell scripting, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Manage Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Group Policy, user administration, domain services, access management, server hardening, and patch management.
• Administer VMware vSphere infrastructure consisting of 19 ESXi hosts with vCenter, DRS, HA, vMotion, virtual machine provisioning, snapshot management, resource optimization, cluster maintenance, and lifecycle management.
• Manage NetApp ONTAP storage including aggregates, SVMs, NFS, iSCSI, storage provisioning, capacity planning, storage performance tuning, DNS troubleshooting, and replication strategies.
• Configure and administer FortiGate Firewalls, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, VPNs, security policies, security profiles, NAT, routing, and firewall rule management.
• Manage Cisco Nexus, Cisco Catalyst, Tejas switches, VLANs, MPLS WAN connectivity, TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, VyOS routers, VRRP, and enterprise network security.
• Build automation solutions using Ansible, Python, Bash, and Shell scripting for server provisioning, OS patching, health checks, configuration management, and operational reporting.
• Developed a Python and Flask-based web dashboard with SSH automation for real-time MPLS branch monitoring and infrastructure health monitoring.
• Perform security monitoring using ArcSight ESM and Logger, log analysis, incident investigation, root cause analysis (RCA), forensic analysis, and compliance reporting.
• Handle Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, and Service Request Management following ITIL best practices while ensuring SLA compliance.

-Built and consumed RESTful APIs for infrastructure monitoring and tooling integrations — exposing live device status, health metrics, and alert data to front-end views and downstream systems

-Applied practical UX judgment to NOC tooling: prioritized at-a-glance status visibility, color-coded alerting, and minimal-click workflows for 24×7 operations staff

-Managed Red Hat Satellite for centralized patch management, content lifecycle, and provisioning across the RHEL server estate, ensuring consistent, repeatable patching aligned to change windows
