Vishnu Jayan

I am Vishnu Jayan, currently employed at the esteemed Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India, as a Project Research Engineer. Our project’s primary focus centres on expanding a rural energy modelling algorithm within the Maharashtra region of India. Leveraging machine learning and data analysis techniques, we ensure efficient electricity and water utilization to support climate-resilient agricultural practices.

In the course of our work, I am responsible for conducting comprehensive data analysis on the collected data, generating insightful visualizations, and drawing meaningful inferences. My proficiency extends to utilizing Python packages such as Pandas, Geopandas, Numpy, and Scikitlearn for these tasks. My hands-on experience in data analysis, data visualization, and scientific writing aligns seamlessly with the position’s requirements.
