Safety Engineer

• Preparing risk assessment and reviewing the risk assessment's.
• Investigate and reporting of near miss and accidents.
• To conducting site emergency evacuation exercises and fire fighting drills.
• Identification and rectification of hazardous situations.
• Checking materials stored is based on the msds.
• Conduct TBT for the various jobs, weekly safety meeting, and safety induction for new comers.
• Ensure zero incident safety culture in the organization.
• Evaluate field activities to detect unsafe act and conditions.
• Inform the management about the requirements of safety according to local regulations.
• Ensure occupational health of all employees.
• Ensure adequate ppe and use of ppe and inspection of ppe.
• Giving first aid to employee's in case of incidents.
• Ensure subcontractors operate in a safe manner and comply with the organizational policy.
• Inspection of scaffolds (scafftag safety system) general scaffold, light duty scaffold and high rise scaffold.
• Carry out necessary inspection and maintain safety related records.
• Ensuring safety in diversified engineering work activities by effective work permit system.
• Reporting to project manager / safety manager at any unsafe conditions or defects in plant and equipment's and HSE related issue.
• Recommending management to provide specialized training to work at height and on scaffoldings and on specialized tasks
