- Ensure all vendor expenses booked are as per the procurement policy (PR&PO creation) of the organization.
- Ensure all the vendor invoices are received, validated (3-way match) for approvals and get accounted in the ERP by the team.
- Ensuring the correctness and timely booking of all the transactions.
- Review and approval of invoices in the ERP after validating the TDS, GST amounts.
- In the case of hired contractors cost invoices, verifying vendor billing hours match with customer billing hours to ensure no revenue / cost leakage.
- Review of AP outstanding report on a weekly basis and sending it for next level approval and payment.
- Ensure the Treasury team makes the payment to vendors as per the due dates of AP outstanding report.
- Identifying of prepaid expenses and preparing the prepaid amortization schedule and posting of amortization entries on timely basis.
- Closely working with accounts payable team and review of all payment entries posted to ensure all the transactions are booked up to date and payments are done on time.
- Accounting for Accruals and provisions on monthly basis as per the accounting standards.
- Accounting for intercompany transfers and preparation of intercompany payable and receivable balances.
- Dealing with Vendor/Internal departments to solve escalations, if any.
- Review and approval of employee expense reimbursements in the ERP.
- Review of AP ageing report at regular intervals to identify aged invoices for more-than 90 days and investigating the reason, taking corrective action accordingly.
- Responsible for handling Audit related queries if any by closing working with Internal & Statutory Auditors.
- Involved in periodic closure of books like monthly, quarterly etc. in ERP.
- Preparation of Variance Analysis QOQ and YOY and highlighting the major variances.
