Develop and implement inspection plans and schedules for vendor and source inspections to ensure timely and efficient evaluation of materials and equipment.

Lead the team for Quality Alignment Meeting with vendors
Oversee and conduct inspections and testing of materials and equipment at the vendor’s facility. This includes verifying compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
Examine and verify vendor quality documents, including Material Test Certificates (MTC), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), and other relevant quality control documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate and witness NDT processes, such as ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, and magnetic particle testing, to verify the integrity of materials and components.
Ensure that all materials, equipment, and processes meet the required quality standards and regulatory requirements. Address and resolve any quality issues or discrepancies identified during inspections.
Identify deviations, non-conformities, or quality issues, and work with vendors to implement corrective actions. Prepare and submit nonconformance reports (NCRs) as needed.
Identify opportunities for improving vendor quality processes and inspection methodologies. Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance overall quality assurance and control efforts.
Materials Inspection and Review: Conduct thorough reviews of material test certificates (MTCs) and inspect bulk materials, valves,
structural components, and equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Witness and document valve testing at accredited laboratories to verify that all valves meet required performance and safety standards.
Witness Procedure Qualification Records (PQRs) and prepare Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), ensuring that all welding and fabrication processes are qualified and documented. Manage welder qualifications to ensure they meet the necessary standards.
Oversee and witness mechanical tests to confirm that components and systems perform as required under specified conditions.
Supervise fabrication works, including piping, structural components, and supports, ensuring they are completed according to design specifications and quality standards.
Oversee the installation of fabricated pipe spools, structures, and supports on-site, ensuring proper alignment, fit, and adherence to design requirements.
Witness NDE processes, heat treatments, and prepare comprehensive reports documenting the results and compliance with project requirements.
Prepare Request for Inspection (RFI) documents and coordinate with client representatives and technicians to schedule and conduct inspections at the appropriate times.
Prepare test packs according to the Test Block Diagram, ensuring all necessary documentation and procedures are in place for thorough testing and verification.
Perform line walking and punch listing to identify and document any issues or deficiencies in the installed systems, coordinating with the relevant teams for resolution.
Pressure Testing: Witness and document pressure tests to ensure that systems meet required pressure specifications and are free from leaks.
Oversee the closeout of punch list items, ensuring that all identified issues are addressed and resolved before project completion.
Manage the reinstatement of piping systems, including tie-ins, hot tapping, and golden welds, ensuring all procedures are followed correctly.
Supervise the erection of structural steel, ensuring proper installation and alignment according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Assist the Quality Manager in conducting audits, providing necessary documentation and support to ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
