Rao is a B.Tech Chemical Engineer from R.E.C. Warangal with 40 years industrial experience from reputed groups like Shaw Wallace, Dharamsi Morarji Chemical Co. Ltd., Kores (India) Ltd., Reliance Cellulose products Ltd, and Malladi Project Management Services. He is instrumental in establishing a large-scale industrial complex of sulphuric acid-based specialty chemicals, Computer grade Barium salts plant and large-scale pharma grade Lactic acid project. He has designed and established many Water, Sewerage and Industrial effluent plants. Some of them are National Aerospace Laboratories, West Coast Textiles Ltd, Malladi Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Taj Holiday village , Taj Hotels Fort Agada .He is a technocrat of ‘’Total water solutions’’.
He has promoted an OEM Company ‘Water & Chemical Technologies’ (WCT) based in Chennai for 20 years, a professionally managed project engineering contracts-cum-consultancy firm in the field of Water & waste water treatment and chemical plants.
He has a clientele list includes Penna Cement industries Ltd, Anrak Aluminum Ltd, Godrej Ltd., Chittoor Co-operative Sugars Ltd., Dodla Dairy Ltd., Global Hospitals, BMR marine products Ltd, Coastal Aqua Ltd. And many water and sewerage water recycling plants for many gated communities in and around Chennai with consistent results for a proven period of 10 to 15 years.
Having meticulous knowledge in water chemistry and practical biological experience, he has strong grip on design of the projects and troubleshooting of any process problems
Working as a ‘Head-Water Treatment division’ part time consultant for BECONS Group, T. Nagar, Chennai for Liberia, Kenya & African projects.
Project feasibilities studies and Detailed project report preparation of large-scale water and sewage treatment plants and distribution network studies.
