Dear HR, I currently work full-time as a Agile Delivery Manager/Senior Scrum Master for a large global organization and play a key role in enabling the teams that I am working with to adopt to Agile ways of working on a day-to-day basis. In my previous roles i worked as Agile Delivery Manager @HSBC, and scrum master in Wipro.In my total 17 years of IT expertise i have worked extensively with banks like RBS, Societie Generale, Capital one, Amex, HSBC across various technologies and horizons. Any Agile transformation journey - to achieve maximum benefit will have to go through the following steps: 1.

Realization on why 'Agile' and how it fits the organization 2. Agile coaching and training 3. Agile practices adoption 4. Agile tools adoption 5. Agile mindset adoption Steps 1-4 above are easy to achieve but Step 5 is what will determine the value addition in reality.

That is where focus will turn towards identifying and removing waste and towards continuous improvement journey. Also important is organization and senior management alignment to this change, starting right from how the goals/KPI of the organizations encourage Agile adoption. How teams are structured also needs to be looked at.
