Role Description The Mobile Application Developer will design, build, and maintain mobile applications that support KeenTech’s business systems and automation solutions. This full-time, on-site role in Erbil involves translating business requirements into intuitive mobile interfaces, writing clean and maintainable code, and integrating apps with back-end services, APIs, and databases. The developer will collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and other engineers to refine features, optimize performance, and ensure secure, reliable functionality across platforms.

Daily tasks include troubleshooting and resolving issues, implementing updates and enhancements, conducting testing, and contributing to technical documentation. The role also involves staying current with mobile development best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve KeenTech’s solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in mobile development frameworks and languages (e.g., Android: Kotlin/Java; iOS: Swift; cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating mobile applications with back-end services and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX principles, responsive design, and best practices for building user-friendly, accessible interfaces.
• Understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and working with local and remote data storage (e.g., SQLite, Firebase, or similar).
• Familiarity with version control, build and deployment tools, and collaborative development workflows (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines).
• Ability to write clean, testable code and perform debugging, performance tuning, and unit/integration testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams on-site.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in building applications that support business operations, ERP systems, or automation solutions is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
