Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Erbil.

The Video

Editor will handle end-to-end post-production for a variety of content, including product demos, marketing assets, tutorials, and internal communications. Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling raw footage, editing video sequences, applying color grading, creating and integrating motion graphics, and preparing final exports for multiple platforms. The role involves collaborating closely with designers, developers, and marketing stakeholders to translate project goals into clear visual stories.

Editor will also organize media assets, maintain consistent visual standards, and suggest creative approaches to improve video quality and engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong video production and video editing skills, with experience managing the full post-production workflow.
• Proficiency in video color grading and motion graphics to ensure polished, visually consistent content.
• Ability to create and adapt graphics for use in video projects, including titles, overlays, and visual elements.
• Experience with industry-standard video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects).
• Solid understanding of aspect ratios, codecs, audio levels, and export settings for web and social platforms.
• Strong visual storytelling skills and attention to detail, with the ability to follow brand guidelines and project requirements.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities, including receiving and implementing feedback in iterative workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work on-site in Erbil as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Previous experience in a software, tech, or product-focused environment is a plus.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is beneficial but not strictly required.
