FifthIngeniumPart time Milan/Smart working paid internship Goal of the internship We are looking for a motivated intern to join our team as an Algorithm Developer, contributing to the development of a C++ library delivered via a cloud-based SaaS platform. The library is actively evolving and being enhanced with features driven by the needs of potential clients. Depending on the candidate’s experience, this role can be structured as an internship, junior-level or more advanced position.
Key responsibilities Support and enhance the existing C++ library.
Develop innovative algorithms in the field of computer graphics.
Deploy the interface both in cloud environments and as standalone software.
Collaborate with the development team to improve library algorithms.
Requirements Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in C++ and bash scripting.
Solid experience with the CMake build system.
Knowledge of Docker technology.
Basic knowledge of Python.
Ability to work effectively in a team and strong communication skills. Will be a plus Experience with parallel computing (the entire library is implemented using parallel algorithms).
Experience in developing 3D applications.
