We are looking for an experienced

Data Engineer for an exciting freelance opportunity with a leading global IT services and consulting company, known for delivering innovative technology solutions across multiple industries.

Location

Italy (remote within Italy)

Rate

€400/day

Contract

6–12 months with strong possibility of extension

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on

Azure

.

Implement and optimise solutions using

Databricks

.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Support data modelling, integration, and performance tuning.

What We're Looking For

At least

3 years of experience in

Data Engineering on Azure and Databricks.

English-speaking (Italian is beneficial).

Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data lakes, and cloud architecture.

Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
