Full Stack Software Engineer - Angular & Java Spring Boot

FastCode is looking for a

Full Stack Software Engineer with at least

3 years of experience

, skilled in

Angular frontend development and

Java with Spring Boot backend development, to join a team working on projects for a leading enterprise client.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new frontend features using Angular (v12+)
• Design and implement backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Integrate RESTful APIs between frontend and backend applications
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment using Jira and Confluence
• Manage source code versioning and CI/CD pipelines with GitLab
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code following best practices
• Contribute to the architectural modernization of applications towards a microservices architecture
• Support application integration activities and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
• Strong experience with frontend development using Angular (v12+)
• Excellent knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and the HTTP protocol
• Experience with Git and GitLab CI/CD
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Mathematical Sciences, Statistics, or a related field

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with Docker in production environments

Experience with Kubernetes

• Knowledge of Keycloak for authentication and authorization
• Experience with Quarkus or other cloud-native Java frameworks
• Knowledge of OpenAPI / Swagger
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, Cypress, and Jest
• Experience working in microservices environments

Hybrid working model

• Employment terms and salary level will be determined during the selection process based on the candidate's experience and qualifications, in accordance with the applicable Italian National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Commercio)
• This is a permanent, full-time position, with an annual gross salary ranging from €34,000 to €39,000, depending on experience
