Role Description
For our Cloud & Infrastructure Team, we're looking for a passionate Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer. You will collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers, Data and Software Engineers to deliver game changing products. You will automatically deploy, operate and monitor your services. We move fast with a no-blame approach. Deploy with courage, and if you break it then fix it!
Typical day in Subito
- Catch up with your team in a stand-up meeting
- Check the health of your applications
- Share updates with other engineers from across the company
- Work on the stories in your sprint: write code, test and deploy!
- Monitor your changes as they go live
- Review the code of your teammates
- Relevant professional experience in the Tech industry
- DevOps engineering with a strong experience in Designing and Building Platform as a Service (like Kubernetes, Nomad and so on) that will help the team in building and operating the next Runtime for Data and Product engineering
- Deep knowledge of Runtime Environments
- Extensive Troubleshooting skills
- Extensive experience with AWS and Terraform
- Extensive experience with Developer's platforms like GitHub (including workflows' development)
- Good experience with Observability and Alerting (such as Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, Loki, ElasticSearch)
- Additionally, experience with some of the following is considered a plus: Python/Go
- Dive deep into system and application performance and reliability issues; partner with software engineers across the organisation to produce and roll out fixes and improvements
- Seek issues across the entire stack. Tackle problems related to mission-critical services and build automation and monitoring to help prevent problem recurrence
- Engage in service planning, demand forecasting, cost containment, software performance analysis and system tuning
- Participation to on-call rotation (after on-boarding period)
