Node .Js Developer

DevWorld is looking for a Backend Developer Node.js to join our tech team and help us build scalable, cloud-native solutions. You'll work on high-impact projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to a modern, quality-driven engineering culture.

What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using JavaScript (Node.js) , with a strong focus on asynchronous programming

Build and maintain RESTful APIs , well documented with Swagger and tested

Work with MongoDB and relational databases (RDS) to ensure performance and reliability

Develop and maintain cloud solutions on AWS (Lambda functions, SQS, S3, etc.)

Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI

Use Docker for development, testing, and deployment

Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment, embracing TDD and DevOps practices

What we're looking for

Strong knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js

Solid experience with asynchronous programming

Hands-on experience with MongoDB and relational databases

Experience working with AWS cloud services

Good command of Docker and containerized environments

Daily use of Git , Postman , and Swagger

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

Good level of spoken and written English A team-oriented mindset and attention to code quality

Nice to have

Based in or occasionally available in Turin

Experience with Maven or Gradle

Previous work on scalable systems or microservices architectures
