Required skills
- Programming expertise : Advanced expertise in Python programming languages .
- Software architecture: microservices, modular monoliths, event driven patterns, API design (REST/GraphQL)
- Cloud & containers: experience with Docker, and a container orchestrator (Kubernetes); understanding of networking, design, deployment, scaling, and management of applications within Kubernetes clusters. Configure and manage services on major public cloud platforms including Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google GCP
- CI/CD: hands on with Git and pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI); artifacts, versioning, and automated deployments.
- DevOps Best Practices Implementation; Establish and enforce DevOps methodologies, ensuring best practices are followed throughout the development, testing, and operational processes
- Agile delivery: backlog slicing, incremental delivery, estimation; ability to work cross functionally and communicate clearly with non technical stakeholders.
- Data & integration: relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL); query optimization and transaction handling.
- Educational & Professional Background : A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. Advanced certifications or equivalent professional experience are highly regarded. 10-12 years previous experience in a similar role within the telecommunications or cloud services industry.
