Adrian Attard Trevisan

Biography

Adrian Attard Trevisan has been involved in the research and development of medical devices for the last 14 years. He was founder, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Scientific Officer of AAT Research, a group of companies involved in the development of certified medical devices. The company has since rebranded itself as Neurotech International, becoming a publicly listed company on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), of which Adrian remained as a Non Executive Director until June 2018.

He has formed part of international research projects in England and France and has given presentations at international conferences and congress, as well as delivering presentations at the Università degli Studi di Milano and University of Malta . Adrian was also a research fellow of the Bedfordshire Center for Mental Health Research in association with the University of Cambridge. He co-founded and acted as Chief Executive Officer of Umana Medical , a developer and manufacturer of patented temporary tattoo sensors that enable patients and medical professionals to monitor vital signs of patients, without the usual restrictions of cables and wires that effect quality of life .

In May 2020 , the company announced that it had been acquired and had become part of the GPI Group , a market leader in the medical technology and services field. Adrian remains Umana Medical’s Founder and Managing Director. In 2022 .

A lifetime achievement award was given to Adrian during the November 2022 edition of the Med Tech World awards in Malta.
