Alessandro Zetti

I am a recent MS graduate who is excited to continue his journey in the work field. I studied at the University of Padova obtaining a bachelor degree in Psychological Science and a MS degree in Cognitive Neuroscience and Clinical Neuropsychology; both of them were international courses, fully held in english. I aim to specialize as a clinician/therapist in the neuropsychology area, but I am passionate about psychology in its broader sense and am therefore open to work in its different branches.

My enthusiasm for this profession stems from a need to understand and help, when possible, others and myself.

I see myself as an enterprising and resilient person, in both the professional and personal sphere, while I like to question myself and keep learning in life with a positive attitude. I have various passions and enjoy staying busy.

2023-2024:

One-year neuropsychology professional training in a clinical and experimental setting, held in Padova's hospital/neurological clinic. Developed skills in:

• Conducting semi-structured clinical interviews and neuropsychological/emotional-behavioural assessments with patients affected by neurodegenerative disorders (particular focus on Parkinson’s disease), as well as with healthy elderly individuals; conducting clinical interviews with caregivers.
• Identifying and administering the appropriate neuropsychological tests and clinical questionnaires.
• Everyday activities of the clinical practice, including critical analysis of new cases, correction of tests, data organization, writing a clinical report and returning it to the patient, ecc.
• Organizing and following the different steps of a research project in the clinical setting (e.g. "Age-It" project)

2021:

Worked as a shop and sales assistant in Crema Sport S.R.L., Padova. It's a camping and sports store where I had different duties, including customer service, products sales, assisting camper sales, and shop/warehouse organization.

10/2021 - 12/2024:

Università degli Studi di Padova, Laurea Magistrale in “Cognitive Neuroscience and Clinical Neuropsychology”.

Experimental thesis (in English) focused on a Parkinson's Disease research project:

"Can Blood Biomarkers be Predictive of Cognitive Decline in Parkinson's Disease? An Exploratory Study"
